Students who are interested in submitting work for this competitive award are requested to present a portfolio of twelve drawings in any medium and material by May 2nd, 4:00 pm. Please place your portfolios in the Dodge Gallery in the Painting Building.
One student will be selected to receive the first place award of $400, while a second place award of $200 and two honorable mention awards of $100 each will also be given. These awards will be presented at the 2012 Fall Convocation ceremony. Students will be notified shortly after the judging as to the results of the competition.
Five students’ work will be chosen (including the winner) to be exhibited in the Dodge Painting Gallery in the fall of 2012.
Jurors for the 7th annual competition are Jonah Criswell and Rebecca Dubay. Judging will take place on May 3rd.
Students are requested to pick up their portfolios on May 4th.
