Call for entry, CAFÉ, or is a great portfolio login site to find juried shows and commissions. Every call has different requirements, but provides the digital applications and memory to upload your portfolio for several calls at a time. They also send you bi-monthly email blasts of upcoming national and local opportunities.

Today I received notice about Emerge, a kiln formed glass call with cash and material prizes. In 2010, Kate Clements (Painting ’11) received this award with her piece she created as a junior while taking George Timock’s class.

A Juried Kiln-glass Exhibition for Emerging and Intermediate-level Artists April 4 through June 23, 2012, in Portland, Oregon, USA Emerge 2012 is the seventh biennial, juried kiln-glass exhibition for emerging artists sponsored by Bullseye Glass Co.—a manufacturer of colored glass for art and architecture with worldwide distribution and a strong commitment to education and promoting glass art. Hosted at Bullseye Gallery, this exhibition will recognize students and early-career artists who are rising through the ranks of kilnformed studio glass but who are not yet represented by major galleries. Emerge 2012 offers over $6,000 in prizes in the form of Bullseye gift cards and conference scholarships. Finalists and their works will be represented in a full-color exhibition catalog with photos, bios, and artist statements. Submitted works must be made with Bullseye glasses. They will be judged for excellence of concept, craftsmanship, and design.
