The fall after I graduated, 2009, I teamed up with Julie Malen for this call, and our 2 person exhibition proposal was approved. June of this year we showed our new bodies of work in the Underground Gallery, and received a reviews by Jonah Criswell and Dana Self, special to the Star.
So you can get some idea of the space if you haven’t been already, I’ve included images from my installation and our collaboration installation.
KCAC is a terrific organization to get involved with, and their facilities and opportunities continue to expand. See more opportunities for artists on our opportunities calendar page. KCAC also has a student exhibition call in the spring, be on the look out!
